Mammadov A. Ilham has 41 years of experience in the legal field. From 1984 to 1994, he worked in various positions, including legal advisor and head of the legal department. He was a member of the Azerbaijan Bar Association from 1994 to 1997. In 1997, he was appointed as a state notary at the 46th Notary Office in Baku. Mammadov A. Ilham served as the senior state notary at the 5th Notary Office in Baku from 2002 to 2011. From 2011 to 2025, he worked as a private notary. In March 2025, he was reinstated to the Azerbaijan Bar Association. His areas of practice include civil law, inheritance law, marriage and family law, alienation of movable and immovable property, providing written and oral advice on any notarial actions, and representation and accompaniment in notary offices.
